Coloramundo (“Coloramundo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Coloramundo mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

By using Coloramundo, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions

Personal Data: Information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual.

Processing: Any operation performed on data (collection, storage, use, deletion).

Service Providers: Third parties that process data on our behalf to operate the Service.

User Content: Words entered, scores, gameplay activity, and related in-game data.

A. Information You Provide

Depending on how you use Coloramundo, we may collect:

Account Information
Guest accounts: autogenerated identifier (no personal information)
Apple or Google sign-in:
Email address
Autogenerated username (derived from the portion of the email address before “@”)
Profile picture (if provided by Apple or Google)

User Content & Gameplay Data
Scores, rankings, streaks, achievements
Competitive and leaderboard participation
Friends lists and invitations

Communications
Messages submitted via in-app feedback or comments forms
Emails sent to our support address

B. Information Collected Automatically

We may collect limited technical data necessary to operate the Service, including:

• Device type and operating system

• App version

• IP address (used to infer approximate location such as country or region)

• Timestamps and basic usage events

• Transaction identifiers and purchase confirmations

IP addresses and technical logs are retained only as long as necessary for security, fraud prevention, and operational purposes.

C. In-App Purchases

When you make a purchase:

Transactions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play

We do not collect or store payment card details

We store:
Transaction IDs
Purchase history
Receipt confirmations provided by Apple or Google

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain Coloramundo

• Enable gameplay features, rankings, and competitions

• Manage accounts and authentication

• Process in-app purchases and entitlements

• Prevent fraud and abuse

• Respond to user inquiries and support requests

• Improve gameplay balance and features using aggregated, internal metrics

We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the Service.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Gameplay, Rankings & Social Features

Global leaderboards display anonymized users as “coloramundo-user”

Friend leaderboards display usernames only to connected friends

Words entered and valid gameplay data are stored for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain:

• Competitive integrity

• Rankings and leaderboards

• Internal gameplay metrics and balancing

If a user deletes their account, anonymized gameplay records may be retained to preserve rankings, prevent fraud, and ensure fair competition.

5. Tracking & Advertising

Coloramundo uses third-party advertising services to support and improve the app.

Advertising

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network. AdMob may collect and use certain data to show relevant ads and measure ad performance.

Data Collection by AdMob

Google AdMob may collect information such as:

• Device information (e.g., device type, operating system)

• IP address

• Approximate location

• Advertising identifiers (such as Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers – IDFA, if permitted)

• Ads served by Google AdMob may be personalized based on user interests, depending on user consent and device settings.

This data is used to:

• Serve and personalize ads

• Measure ad effectiveness

• Prevent fraud

User Consent (iOS)

On iOS devices, Coloramundo will request permission to track users across apps and websites where required by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. Users can choose to allow or deny this tracking.

No Direct Tracking by Developer

Coloramundo does not independently track users for advertising purposes outside of the services provided by third-party partners such as Google AdMob.

6. Data Sharing & Service Providers

Gameplay and competitive records: retained as long as reasonably necessary for rankings and integrity

Server logs and technical records: retained for approximately 30 days

Purchase records: retained as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without appropriate consent.

In-app purchases require platform-level authorization through Apple or Google.

If you believe a child has provided personal data without proper consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise gameplay and manage device purchase settings.

10. International Users

Coloramundo may be accessed globally. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ.

For users in the EU/UK, we rely on lawful bases including:
